“I was so confused!” — 50-year-old Nikki Myring-Thomas tells about how her cat Inka disappeared.
“When Inka, our beloved family cat, ran away from home on September 10th, it was heartbreaking. We searched for her relentlessly over three days but could not find any trace of her. The thought that she could have been run over by a car made us all anxious and worried.
The woman was desperate, but Nikki had a strange dream of seeing the cat trapped. She did not know then that this dream would save her cat’s life. We were all distraught at the end of our rope when I dreamt that Inka was stuck in the abandoned St David’s Church near our house.
First, I woke up at 4 am and thought it was a strange dream. And in the morning I was walking my whippet and decided to go there. No one would have noticed that I went there.
Behind me, I noticed a small pink window. This church has big and thick walls. I just called Inca and immediately heard a soft meow. I immediately realized that it was my cat.
I called her again and saw Inka jump out the window. And I even cried a little. I imagined she would have stayed here forever if not for the dream. It was unreal to hear the cat calling for help from the road. And without a person, she would not have been able to get out of there.”
Nikki jokes that she had a sixth sense or which nature came out. Upon her return, Inka ate a large portion of food, and after a while, she recovered from the shock. It is hard to imagine what she felt then.
Everyone to whom Nikki told this story is surprised because it is a bizarre case! Or maybe the higher powers just decided to help her. Who knows.
