Freddy and Sinead O’Cleary were sorrowful when their beloved cat Simba ran away from home one night and disappeared. They were terrified that something terrible may have happened to her and were overjoyed when they saw her not far from their house. However, their happiness was short-lived when they found out she had been hit by a car and killed.
“Simba didn’t return all night; early in the morning, my husband got up to go to the gym and saw a dead cat hit by a car. We cried, and my sons were devastated,” the family’s mother shared.
The O’Clearys were heartbroken and decided to give their pet a proper burial. They purchased a tiny coffin and buried their beloved cat with all the honors, spending £85 in total.
They grieved for days after losing Simba, but soon their eldest son Connell came back home smiling, with something in his arms – and it was Simba alive! Even though the O’Clearys were shocked, they were happy that their beloved pet was back.
It turned out that the dead cat they found on the roadside belonged to a neighbor and looked very much like Simba. The couple realized how lucky they were that their pet was still alive.
The O’Clearys were grateful to have their beloved cat Simba back home with them after she had gone missing, and they were astonished that she had survived the accident. It was a miracle that Simba was still alive, and the family cherished her more than ever. After all, she had been part of their lives for over 14 years.
Simba will always remind the O’Clearys of how fragile and precious life is and how important it is to cherish every moment with your loved ones. She has brought so much joy back into the family’s life and will continue for many more years.
The O’Clearys will never forget the miracle of Simba coming back home, and they are so grateful that they can continue to love her and make memories together. They will always be thankful that she survived the accident and returned to their lives again.
