A cat named Ginger Nat is recovering from a brutal attack that left him with life-threatening injuries. Ginger Nat was shot twice in the head with an air gun, losing his left eye and two teeth. He also suffered a large abscess on his head.
One of the pellets hit his left eye, which caused a large abscess that had to be removed surgically. Two of his teeth were also crushed beyond repair and had to be extracted.
A concerned man who witnessed the violence brought the cat to the vet.
“This cat probably only survived due to his size and higher bone density than unsterilized adult males.” — the vet suggested.
Ginger had owners who immediately came as soon as they learned about the tragedy through social networks.
The pellets were still lodged in his head, one in his skull and the other in his jaw because they could not be safely removed. Ginger Nat suffered terribly from his injuries but is now receiving the treatment he needs. It is expected that he will make a full recovery in time.
“He suffered a lot from these terrible wounds for a long period. Eating, getting up, walking, and even looking was incredibly difficult for him!”
The poor cat is left with one eye sewn shut, as these horrific images show.
After a while, Ginger was on the mend, and this was the best news for his owners, who were very worried about him!
Ross Atkin, a spokesman for the charity, said: “We always say that cats should be kept indoors between dusk and dawn when most accidents and mishaps happen.” We can help keep our feline friends safe from harm by following this simple rule.
They are still investigating who could have done it. The witness tried to make a sketch, but the criminals had not yet been found. The investigation suspects that they obtained the weapons illegally.
Ginger Nat’s story is tragic and could have easily ended much worse had he not been found and brought in for treatment when he was.
