It is sad when we hear that an animal dies in the cold. But it is even worse when the owner does not care about it and leaves it to pass. This is precisely what happened to this poor Dalmatian, who was found frozen to death near garbage cans. No one knows how long the poor guy spent without food. He resembles a skeleton, which is just covered with fur.
Fortunately, a kind-hearted homeless man noticed him and took him to the vet. Here is his story.
The dog has many purulent wounds on his body, which cause the poor dog considerable discomfort and pain. The veterinarian realized that it was necessary to check the internal organs of the Dalmatian because it was not clear what was wrong with them.
The most severe frostbite was in the shoulder blade area, and the head and legs were significantly damaged. He was hungry, dehydrated, and exhausted.
You would not wish such a life for anyone, so it is sad to see such a picture.
And even sadder is that no one helped him. Everyone passed by and did not even throw a piece of bread. They just ignored him. After all, what does anyone care about the poor guy?
Despite all this, the dog did not lose his kind heart. He was polite and calm. He did not bark and did not rush. Perhaps because he did not have the strength for it, or maybe it was just his character.
“My eyes filled with tears when I saw that dog—tied to a garbage can. He was frozen and could not move,” – the homeless man told the veterinarian.
The doctor decided to take care of the Dalmatian himself because he understood that the man had no money for treatment.
So far, the dog has a long way to recover. He can not walk because of frostbite on his paws. He needed to be fed because he had no strength for it, but he had a thirst and will to live. He did not give up, despite all the pain.
And in 2 weeks, he was on the mend. We hope that the Dalmatian will feel all the warmth and love he deserves in the new family that the doctor is looking for him over time.
