Missy was half-starved and on the verge of death when Lou Sisk rescued her from a pile of garbage. She could hardly have done more!
According to Dublin Shelter, Lou immediately sent Missy to the vet, where it was discovered that she had severe dehydration, anemia, and multiple wounds.
She was suffering from many issues, such as mange and infection, and if left alone any longer, she would have died.
Missy needed surgery to remove a severe infection in her uterus. After the procedure, she spent several months recovering but had great support.
When she arrived, she was underweight and weak. However, with time and love, she slowly started to gain weight until she was finally ready for her forever home.
