While it is said that having a tricolored cat brings good luck, cats do not always have such fortune.
A tiny, three-colored kitten was lying in the grass on the side of the road. The kitten would not have got there by itself – it was thrown there. The kid was wet, he had almost no strength to move, and it was virtually impossible to notice the tiny kitten in the grass.
The girl noticed it accidentally; it caught her eye like a colored spot in the gray grass. The cat tried to call for help, but she did not even have the strength to meow; she silently opened her mouth.
The girl picked up and examined the kitten, noticing that one hind and one front paw of the baby did not obey. Perhaps the girl was near the road because the owners did not want to treat her.
The girl took the kitten to the veterinarian, where it was discovered that it had fractures in its front and hind legs. The vet operated on its paws by inserting a needle, allowing the animal to continue moving.
After another examination, the doctors said surgery on the second leg was unnecessary as it had already started to grow.
The kitten is now recovering and getting stronger every day, thanks to the kind actions of one person. But cases like this are all too common in our society – animal abuse and abandonment are serious issues that must be addressed.
