When the woman driving down the road saw a tiny, wet kitten stranded on the side of the road, she knew she had to help. The poor little guy was constantly attacked by crows and was in terrible shape. There was no fur on his back and numerous bite marks on his head.
In addition to respiration issues, he also had a permanent head tilt. It was likely because the birds pecked his head so frequently that it caused damage to his brain.
The thing that disgusted her the most was when people drove or walked by and ignored the fact that the poor creature was suffering.
She scooped him up and took him to the vet for emergency care, hoping she wasn’t too late. They put him on an IV and gave him antibiotics to fight the infection.
The woman took the tiny kitten home, feeding it with a syringe. She went to bed, hoping that it would survive the night.
She was delighted to see that he was still alive in the morning. So, she hurried back to the clinic with him. The kitten was getting weaker by the minute and wasn’t looking good. His head was tilted to one side, and his forehead looked swollen from all the biting. It also seemed like it had affected his ability to move around correctly.
After three days, Max’s appetite returned, and he even started playing again. However, the swelling on his head was worse than before, and he felt softer to the touch. Later, when the antibiotics began working, his appearance improved.
Even though he will never be able to live everyday life, Max is still a happy kitten who enjoys cuddling and playing with his toys. The woman could not leave him. They were together forever. She had saved his life, and he would never forget it.
He has found a forever home with the woman who saved him, and she loves him unconditionally.
