In Indonesia, a man named Keli Keningau Praitno often passes through the cemetery. One day he noticed a striped cat lying on a tombstone marked ibu Kundari (mother of Kundari).
Every day Keli saw the cat hanging around Kundari’s grave. Once he even tried to bring the cat home, but the kitten refused to go and stayed by the grave.
“I thought she was a stray, and I tried to help her, but every time I picked her up, she went back there again,” says Keli.
Then Keli decided to keep an eye on the cat and feed it regularly. The cat would only leave the grave to receive food from Kelly and her family.
Keli Keningau Praitno tried to adopt the cat, but it always returned to the same place sleeping there and meowing.
It is heartwarming to see this cat’s love and devotion for her owner, even though they are no longer with us. It shows that the bond between humans and their pets can last beyond our time on this earth.
“It is unfortunate to see. It shows how close animals are to their owners.”
The cat has been living at her owner’s grave for over a year, showing love and devotion.
While we may not always know the whole story behind why a cat behaves in a certain way, in this case, it is clear that this feline has found solace and companionship by her owner’s grave. And Keli is happy to oblige, providing food and water for her furry friend.
