If you thought that all squirrels looked the same, think again! The Malabar giant squirrel is a vast and impressive creature found in India. This animal is twice the size of an eastern gray squirrel and has a highly bushy tail. They are also known as the Indian giant squirrel and are considered one of the world’s most beautiful animals.
In 2006, squirrel expert John Koprowski visited India and saw the Malabar giant squirrel for the first time.
Like a primate, he considered the animal much more significant than a squirrel. On the other hand, this enormous creature was not a primate but simply a giant squirrel. They have a length of 36 inches (0.91 m) from top to tail. The Malabar giant squirrel is an impressive animal worth learning more about!
If you ever have the chance to see one of these incredible creatures in person, you will be impressed! They are indeed a sight to behold.
