Kita could be called one of the most miserable creatures on the planet. The cat had no shelter, no owner, no one to feed her, and no one to take care of her. She slept under the open sky in all kinds of weather conditions. And the weather, as everyone knows, is a capricious lady. That’s why the baby wandered on the street in the cold and heat. No one loved the poor animal and gave no affection or simple human warmth.
One day, the shelter workers saw the poor thing and took it away. After an examination, the vets came to a sad conclusion. The tumor that was on the cat’s face was incurable. It obscured the entire eye of the cat and prevented it from eating normally. The doctors said that putting the cat to sleep was the only way out.
Such a horrible event would not have passed the cat by if Unwanted NYC Pets had not received information about it. Representatives of this organization came, saw the cat, and decided she deserved to be happy.
After consulting with experts, the organization decided to operate on the cat, even though it was a hazardous venture. It could have ended tragically. The cat would probably never have been able to eat normally again and would have had to be fed through a catheter.
Otherwise, her face could have been completely disfigured. Then no one would have been able to take her home with them. However, after weighing all the risks, it was decided that giving her a chance at a new life was better than putting her to sleep.
However, a true miracle happened; the outcome of the operation was successful. The kitty’s appearance is slowly being restored. She eats so much food as if she had never been fed.
