Looking for a loving home is hard, but looking for a loving home when you have a deformity that affects your appearance can be even more complex. That’s the situation Kaya, an adorable cat from Canada is in. Kaya was born with a deformity of her muzzle that has affected the shape and location of her eyes: they are tiny and unusually close.
This has made it difficult to find her a permanent home.
When Kaya was just under a month old, she came to the shelter in poor condition, suffering from an infestation of parasites, prolonged dehydration, and lack of food.
Fortunately, Kaya has been taken in by a shelter dedicated to helping needy animals. The top has provided her with the care and treatment she needs to recover from her previous condition.
Kaye was blind after suffering a traumatic eye injury. She had an operation to restore her vision and relieve her from constant agony. Even though she has no eyesight, she can see and move about her house without the risk of running into anything. Kayani’s volunteers aren’t giving up hope that she will find a family and loving care, continuously publishing updates about her on social media.
She was very offended when people came and turned away. They did not want this unique and special cat. She is well taken care of in the shelter, but it is no substitute for loving people who will always be there and pay as much attention as needed.
Kaya is still in need of a loving home. The girl is intelligent and active; she loves to play and talk to people. Despite her appearance, she is waiting for her family and believes she will find them one day.
