Ronnie’s parents got him a present – a red cat Phoenix. The cat and boy immediately became best friends, spending all their time playing together in the house and yard. This ideal situation lasted for months until, one day, the phoenix disappeared. Ronnie’s parents tried everything to find the cat but had no luck. Ronnie was heartbroken.
After six months, the family decided it was hopeless and accepted their fate of not finding Phoenix, mainly because they had relocated to another home at the time. It was determined at the family council that a new pet should be taken. On the weekend, the parents and Ronnie went to the shelter, the only one in this city, to pick up a new companion.
Ronnie went through each of the inhabitants in the shelter, particularly examining the crimson cats who looked like his old cat. The boy noticed just such a cat in one of the cages, so he was permitted to pick it up. The adults recognized that the feline in the cage resembled Phoenix right away. It soon became apparent that Ronnie’s lost pet had been found.
The family took the cat home that day, and Ronnie was thrilled to have his best friend back. Even though it was long, Phoenix remembered Ronnie and was happy to be home. From that day on, the boy never went anywhere without his red cat by his side. Ronnie’s story goes to show that cats are our faithful furry friends.
Phoenix was abandoned on the streets before being brought to the shelter by a foreigner. They found a chip on him during the inspection but could not identify his owner through it. While at the top, Phoenix patiently waited for his former family amid pet owners that proved challenging to please because of his background–ignoring other families that came and went. Fortunately (or perhaps unluckily), Phoenix’s original family did come back for him after six months of living in the pound.
