Nala was scheduled to be euthanized at the shelter she was taken to. The cat was homeless. She was brought to sleep by a man with whom she was interfering.
However, Kitty Kitty Rescue took her in and transported her to another state, hoping she would not give birth during the trip. Nala, fortunately, gave birth when she felt safe in the home of one of her rescuers.
George gladly took her in and cared for her. Nala immediately took a liking to him. She was very obedient, although it was noticeable that she was worried and wary because she did not know what would be done to her there.
Being a stray, Nala was underweight, and her kittens were no exception-especially the little girl who weighed only 2 1/2 ounces.
They were taken from Nala to the clinic, and she began to search for them frantically. Nala ran away from home and went around two blocks searching for her kittens before she was finally reunited with them.
Rescuers found her; she was shaking terribly and crying. She was very coda. Then the cat was returned to her little kittens.
All the kittens are doing well, but they continue to be monitored closely. The little girl who was born weighing only ounces has continued to thrive and is now a healthy weight. Nala and her kittens are a fantastic story of survival against all odds. They were given a second chance at life thanks to Kitty Kitty Rescue.
