In the Bronx, a rescue team from Little Wanderers NYC found a mother cat and her four kittens in a dirty backyard. The mother cat did her best to protect her kittens, but the rescue team soon captured her. The four-week-old kittens were soon washed and fed.
In contrast to their mother, the kittens were not suspicious of people and amicably blended into life at home. With consummate curiosity, they also immediately sprawled out in a comfy warm bed.
“We have four children, three boys, and one girl. Sterling is the oldest, followed by Sutton and Silas (all boys). The only female is Savannah,” said Antoinette. “They’re all lovely and loving.”
The cat was found the next day and immediately taken to the cubs to reunite them. The family has been enjoying their new addition and is grateful to the rescue team for their help.
The kittens loved life at home, playing all the time until they were exhausted and then napping so they could play some more. They also learned how virtual hugs and snuggles are.
“We’re so glad we could help this mother cat and her kittens,” said Ariana. “And we’re grateful to the family for giving them a loving home.”
