A stray cat living on the streets of Quebec, Canada, was finally given a chance at life when he wandered up to a woman’s door one winter day. This unfortunate cat meowed at the woman’s door until she heard him. He fought for his life. Battered and covered in parasites, the cat was rushed to the vet for treatment. There, he was infected with FIV, among other things.
After he had recovered sufficiently, the cat moved into the shelter where he could continue to recover at his own pace and in his own time.
“He is such a nice and loving guy. He purrs with delight and is thrilled to be back inside where he belongs,” Marie added. “He’s finally getting the care and love he deserves.”
With his bed and a plethora of cat companions, Aslan is now flourishing. He ate until complete and snuggled up next to his new feline friends. “He adores people (and other cats) and frequently seeks hugs. This gorgeous cat was once part of a loving family.”
Cleo, another cat in the shelter, showed him the ropes and took him under her wing. She was there for cuddles when he returned from dental surgery. Now, the two of them are inseparable.
Aslan’s story is a heartwarming reminder that some animals may have a rough start. Still, they can always find their way back to a life of happiness and love. Thanks to the kindness of strangers, Aslan was given a second chance at life – and he is thriving.
A slightly battered middle-aged guy had emerged from the snow into their wildest fantasies. When the cat begged to be let in from the cold, the feline was taken to the vet, where he returned to life again!
