Joey was just minding his own business, living in his small house on the edge of town, when he noticed a cat at his window. The cat was looking inside, and seemed to be trying to get Joey’s attention. Joey went over to the window to see what was going on, and the cat meowed softly at him. Joey could tell that the cat was injured, as there was a big wound behind his ear. He also looked very skinny and had no teeth left in his mouth.
Despite all of this, Joey felt drawn to the cat and decided to take him in. He cleaned the wound and fed him, and gradually the cat started to put on weight. His fur also started to grow back, and he slowly became more friendly. Now, this stray cat has become a beloved member of Joey’s family – and he knows that he would never have been able to find a better home.
