Jason had just returned his rental car in Decatur, Georgia, when he heard frantic meowing in the parking lot. He looked left and right and then under the car next to him, where he found a poor little guy, soaking wet and alone.
The man decided to help a poor cat who was in trouble.
“At times like this, I tell myself, ‘This has to happen for a reason,’” Jason explained. “And if I were a stray cat, I’d want someone to help me.”
He took the cat to the shelter to check if everything was fine with him. It turned out he was just a little scared and cold.
“I’m glad I could help,” Jason said. “And I hope this story encourages others to do the same.”
He was told that the cat would most likely be returned to the streets; he probably lived there and could take care of himself.
But the cat meowed a lot and didn’t want to leave Jason for a minute. Therefore, the man did not think for a long time and took the cat home.
Jason had a dog at home. When he brought the cat, they immediately became friends.
Jason was a musician and had a crazy work schedule, so eventually, he had to give the cat to a shelter. But he was glad he could help when the cat needed it the most. But he often visited and missed him.
